Mai-mahiu - Narok road closed

www.ntv.co.ke The Maimahiu - Narok highway has been closed by the Kenya National Highway Authority after officials discovered cracks on the surface of the road. The highway authority says the current rain that has been hitting different parts of the country have made matters worse. This comes just days after huge gullies erupted in the region swallowing what residents say was a house,a dam, trees and farmland. The gullies have been getting bigger and deeper and now they have found their way to the main highway. The authority is now advising motorists to use alternative routes as it figures out the intensity of the crack and a solution to it.
