"Mr. Vega is extremely lucky to be alive right now." police hope the photo gets the attention of copper thieves. and based on the reaction we got from people we showed it to.. it certainly may. "Oh yes, yes. It's bad, bad." "It's horrible." "Paid his dues." hector acosta says he's seen these kinds of burns before. "Third degree, second degree." he worked in afghanistan as a firefighter. he says vega can expect months of treatment and pain. lots of pain.
